Focus on project results: To Know
10 February 2015

The second project in our series has made a meaningful contribution to strengthening the social and economic cohesion of the border area in the field of education through the joint development of skills and knowledge:

The project identified and successfully addressed the common shortcomings of primary and secondary schools in Arad and Hódmezővásárhely through skill development trainings organised for teachers and students. Primary school teachers were taught to integrate origami and quilling techniques into their teaching process, while secondary school teachers could learn about using media information tools. Secondary school students could participate in exchange programmes (meant to enhance their competences) organised in camps in the Lunca Mureșului Natural Park and the Mártélyi Landscape Protection Area. The project's completion was marked by the launch of an intercultural festival meant to promote interculturality and friendship between the two schools.
