The National Development Agency (Hungary) and the Ministry for Regional Development and Tourism (Romania) issued a press release regarding the current status of the programme.
The third call of proposals has been officially closed on 22 January 2010. Since then, an impressive number of 280 applications have arrived to the JTS, demonstrating once again the great interest for co-operation in the Hungarian-Romanian border area. All the received applications are now carefully checked in order to ensure their formal compliance with the Programme requirements.
The press release also contains information regarding the first two calls for proposal. In case of the first call, most of the 90 selected projects are being implemented, while in the second step of the second call the applications elaborated based on the selected concept notes may be submitted continuously until 6 July 2010.
