3rd Progress Meeting HURO/0901/147/2.2.2 SZETISA1 26 January 2012
Project title:
Hereby we cordially invite you to our 3rd Progress Meeting to be held in Timisoara at the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, on 26-27 January, 2012. Venue: Timisoara, Calea Aradului 119. We will give a report on our results achieved in the 3rd reporting period of 01/10/2011-31/01/2012. Presentations will given on the effects of Fusarium on the mineral composition of wheat, as determined by the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS) purchased in the frame of this project. The antioxidant reponses of wheat plant, changes in glutamine synthetase izoenzymes and Rubisco protein as affected by Fusarium inoculation will also be shown together with microbial and toxicological studies. The effects of toxins on the ion channel activity of stomatal guard cells will aso be demonstrated.
